Kashina Karen Alexander-Mclean

Kashina Alexander-McLean, wife and mother of three, pushed beyond her obstacles to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. She not only achieved that goal but superseded her own expectations when she later found herself leading a team of nurses at one of the largest hospitals in the Caribbean. She is an Inspirational Speaker, Trainer, Sexual Abuse Advocate and Life Strategist whose platform has reached thousands of women in the diaspora. From a life of intense struggle and several devastating encounters, Kashina’s strength and courage has helped several women recognize their worth and pursue their passions. She is the founder of Scars That Speak Out Loud and Raising Esthers International; two organizations focused on building and equiping women for various societal roles. Over the last few years, she has developed programs and strategies which have altered the lives of abuse victims, reforming the trajectory of their future.
Kashina’s personal journey prompted a high degree of intolerance for injustice against women and girls leading her to dive head on into activism. She has worked with private and public institutions in areas of personal development, coaching, training and advocacy. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Forensics in order to better understand and be able to work with victims of violence and abuse. In her book, she takes her readers on a journey and gives them a seamless design for personal success extracted directly from her own life’s experiences. Kashina’s amazing story of transforming her life from sexual abuse, substance and alcohol abuse among other things to building a career and leading two organizations is the inspiration behind her mission to impart to others that it is possible to accomplish immeasurable goals and tap into their unlimited potential.
